Super Charge Your Blog With Perks

I excited to announce that I’ve super charged my blog with perks. Just one thing, I’m moving to a new location, and here’s why.

Some blogs just don’t have any UMPF! You know what I’m talking about. If your blog is not self-hosted, there are potential problems on the horizon. I’m talking about content restrictions, that’s right, it has happened to many successful bloggers. Too much spam, your blog is shut down, immediately.

Plus, with a self-hosted WordPress blog, you get over 100 plugins. Imagine what you can do with those. Here’s a list of my top 10 basic plugins, with my favourite being the SEO tools and the StatPress ( great data to monitor traffic ).

Thank-you for your loyalty. This new blog will be better, feel free to visit, while still under construction, as I’m tinkering with new plugins. The same great network marketing blog posts are there, please visit and take a tour of my new blog @ www.garycanie.com

Blog Review: www.digmlm.com

I love the enthusiam of new blogger Robinsh Kumar, who recently set up his own blog @ www.digmlm.com  and is constantly posting new ideas. It’s amazing how a blog can inspire someone who is looking for answers.

The blog has an appealing layout, with a baby blue header that catches the eye. It’s easy to scan with a lot of white space, with smooth navigation. On the right side there’s a column for advertising, and a list of categories, friends and blogs, and the archive.

The goal of this blog is to help young entrepreneurs. This is a great subject, as this niche has not really been developed to its potential. There are thousands of young, hungry, and enthusiastic business owner hopefuls out there looking for direction on how to get started.

Readers are also welcome to comment on any post, and can join as a guest poster. Certain guidlines are required to follow for this and can be read on the site. There’s a great opportunity to join in and be part of a new growing blogging comunity.

 Conclusion

Can a business or blog directory help your business? Absolutely, in fact you should make it a regular part of your marketing strategy. Are there a lot of directories to choose from? Only 169,000,000 of them listed on Google search, all different features and pricing. But, in my view, and I’ve seen quite a few, Premium-Business-Directory has more value than most, and for the price, taking the top package is an incredible value, and will help your business gain much needed exposure and traffic.

The 5 Biggest Blog Mistakes

Is your blog going nowhere? Don’t know why? Take a look at these 5 biggest blog mistakes for your answer. I’m sure you’ve been guilty of a few of them, and maybe all of them, I know I have.

  1. Lack of blog content
  2. Not monetizing properly
  3. Writing without passion
  4. Not using keyword rich titles and content in blog
  5. Not creating back links

Lack of Blog Content

What happens to most bloggers is that they don’t see results ( income ), or traffic, and they stray away from their blogs, and start working on something else. This is commonly known as ” Internet road kill “, as you have left your blog alone to die on a busy highway. Results can only be obtained by consistently posting new articles on your blog, and this takes time to establish traffic and results. Don’t have time? You must concentrate on one method of marketing, whether it’s blogs, video,e-mail, social media, and so on. Become an expert in that field, and do it consistently, and you’ll see results.

Not Monetizing Properly

This leads to frustration, after all, the bottom line is you’re in it to make money, right. There are hundreds of affiliate programs out there, but finding the right one might take some research. This is important because your marketing efforts will see better results if the ads your posting are related to the subject that you are blogging about. For an example take a look at this monetized blog.

Writing Without Passion

This one of the biggest mistakes. If you post a blog with a bunch of statistics, and copied data, people get bored, and their gone. Writing copy is an art, and it can be learned, but there’s  a simple rule of thumb that will give you success. Talk in your own voice, as you are talking to someone that’s right beside you, possibly a friend. Put your spin on a subject you’ve read about, or just learned, this uniqueness will show your passion in your blog.

Not Using Keyword Rich Titles and Content in Your Blog

Decide what the main topic is that you are discussing in each article in your blog. Try to concentrate on that topic, and don’t stray, or ramble on about other subjects, you can save that for another article. Do some keyword research, I find this no cost  keyword research tool to be good. Remember, people are searching for information on the web, when they type in a word or a phrase, you want that word or phrase to be your keyword, and more importantly, you want it in your title and content.

Not Creating Back Links

This is just something that you have to do if you want organic traffic from search engines, as they view links back to your site as relevant, deciding that your information has importance, and therefore it deserves traffic. One thing to remember, it will do you no good just to post links all over the web. The search engines give you more credibility from your links that have similar subjects, and have a good SEO themselves, therefore they probably won’t recognize anything that doesn’t come from  a credible source. The best way to get back links is by consistently submitting your blog articles to blog directories. For more info on that read our article ” Top 20 Blog Directories “.
