Top 5 Reasons To Build A Proper Marketing Funnel

Is your network marketing efforts in a slump? Are you getting plenty of traffic, but your prospects aren’t travelling far enough through your marketing funnel? Well, the answer is that your marketing funnel doesn’t have proper structure. That’s right, it’s time for an overhaul to your marketing efforts. Start from scratch, and build it right, and yes, they will come. Here are the 5 pieces of the marketing funnel framework that are necessary for success:

  1. Front-end ( where your prospects will initially enter )
  2. Free Offer (  offer something of value to capture their e-mail address ), such as a free report, e-book, or video )
  3. Sell a inexepensive product (  this is where you break even, and are rewarded for your time and cost so far )
  4. Offer a medium priced product or service ( up sell )
  5. Offer your most expensive product or service ( back-end )

Front End

You must draw traffic to your website, blog, or capture page. This is the first essential step, and most of your marketing efforts and time will be spent on this. You can use any method you want, or a variety, including: article submissions, blogging, social media, and PPC, etc. Make sure that the content you use, is related to the products or services that you are offering later. ( this pre-sells the next stage ).

Free Offer

This is the first ” sweet spot ” in your funnel. You must offer something of value, this is essential if you want the prospect to continue through your marketing funnel.  ( and once again, it must be related to the products and services you plan to sell later, thus pre-selling the next step ) It has been proven that if you design your free offer with original content that is uniquely yours, your marketing results will improve. This brands you as someone of value, someone who a prospect will consider, is worth giving their money to.

Sell An Inexpensive Product

The price should be low, even $10 or less. The idea is to recoup what ever money and time you have spent so far. ( through advertising or product development, etc. ) You want to break even, that’s it. The farther your prospect goes through your funnel increases his value to you. Make sure that the product or service you sell is related to the next product or service. ( pre-sell the next step ).

Offer A Medium Priced Product Or Service

Now it’s time to start making money! Your prospect should already be pre-sold, thanks to the proper structure of your marketing funnel, but you don’t want to scare them off with an expensive offer. Make sure that you always offer something of value, and that you pre-sell your prospect to the next step.

Offer Your Most Epensive Product Or Service

This is it, this is where all the pre-selling pays off. Not all of your prospects will get this far, but the ones that do are convinced that you are someone who can add value to their marketing efforts. Not only will you make money now from them, but will have a life long customer, and that is why a proper marketing funnel works. Once again, make sure that all your content, all your offers, are related. Make sure there is a nice flow to your marketing funnel, that each stage pre-sells the next, and so on.
